Been getting it for weeks (possibly months) on FX UK.

Unfortunately, seeing the same ad over and over is something people watching webshows experience all the time. Let’s say you find a new critic or performance group you really like, on Escapist, or TGWG.com, or Rooster Teeth or even PATV. And you want to watch a bunch of their episodes. You gotta watch the same damn commercial before every one, sometimes on multiple sites! Several months back? I was so sick if hearing about the stupid ‘cellular mongoose’ from Metro PCS.

Another unexpected benefit from getting rid of cable!

Seriously though. Greg’s right about webshows and looping ads. If I have to watch that Denny’s “Square meal” ad one more time I will elbow drop my laptop.

Similar (if not the same) to Greg ED’s plight, my choice is all those Verizon Moments ads that are on all the webplayers and whatnot. When I’m marathoning a Blip series or going through past Daily Show segments online, having to see those damn Hallmark moment autoclickers over and over again can be weary on the spirit. Still wasn’t as bad as that one ad for Wyoming that somehow wouldn’t let the videos on when it ended.

Didn’t Pokerstars get sent to federal pound-me-in-the-ass prison in April of 2011? I remember some news buzz about an American crackdown on online gambling.

That ad is completely unfamiliar to me, yet I’ve watched many of things you list above.

More evidence that my brain has finally been trained by the networks to tune out commercials on television completely, I guess.

First time watching (I usually switch to something else in commercials)…

Where’s an asteroid hit for these dolts when you need one?

Is there a worse commercial airing currently than this one?

Pretty much any 5-Hour Energy or Popeye’s Chicken ad during Raw.

“My Debut ALBUMMMMMM”

“Loozeeana fast!”

Repeat until insane.

I’m pretty sure there are multiple “Discount Doublecheck” ads worse than this one. For example, this ad doesn’t force an awkward phrase like “Discount Doublecheck” into ordinary conversation.

Without clicking on the video I’m just going to assume it’s that douchey deaf DJ that still performs off FEEL. God I hate that guy

I try not to watch TV for the sake of my sanit, but generally speaking, all washing & cleaning stuff commercials are worse.

I can’t even hate it. It’s just so ineffective and boring.
There’s a joke about “the evil of banality” in here somewhere.

I don’t want to bother tracking down a link, but there’s a Sprint ad where it tries to make people taking instagram photos of their food some sort of profound statement about humanity.

“A million photojournalists capturing every walk of life.” and then later “I want, no, I have the right to be unlimited.” And I just roll my eyes. Like, I even use Sprint and this ad makes me think anyone that has sprint is some huge douchebag.

The Prius commercial that pretty much states outright that the best thing for the environment is for EVERYBODY IN THE WORLD to own and drive their own car. No car-pooling or public transit in this enviro-wonderland!

I’m pretty sure AdBlock Plus can block Daily Show ads. I’ve never seen any of them ..
