That was by far more entertaining than the movie.

Dear sirs;

Please kindly stop talking in the movie theatre.

Yours gratefully,

Everyone else.

As I understand it, Kilimanjaro has equatorial jungle (as well as apparently decent examples of most climate types)… Egypt seems a bit of a reach though. I wonder if there’s actual sense to be made here, or if they just didn’t talk about it.

Still, while I am fully expecting this movie to be very bad as far as good movies go, I suspect it will entertain me enough to be worth the zero dollars I will spend on it. 6.99 bargain bin buy if it has anything I want to see once. God BLESS try before you buy.

The ‘giant predatory birds’ thing kind of makes *actual* sense though, was there something actually wrong with them?

Given how little value for the money this movie appears to dish out, anyone with delusions of MST3K actively reducing that ratio better hope I can’t hear them talking.

…I’d be dishing out the “dude! don’t talk in cinemas!” stuff as well, except… one time I went to see Jersey Girl and I was ten minutes early and until two minutes before the movie started it was just me in there. Then two other girls came in and sat down twenty rows behind me. I could’ve taken out a CD player and provided my own soundtrack and they wouldn’t even have noticed.

I find myself wondering, now, how often movies play to near-empty auditoriums.

(Also, even if the auditorium wasn’t empty, I forgive you because of the Civ references. Damn Universal Suffrage! Why must you come so late in the game? Why?!)

Civ reference 4TW!

And by all means, when the movie is that horrible… make your snide comments. One of two things will happen:

1. You will amuse other people around you, and they will actually enjoy the experience.

2. You annoy other people around you, and you get kicked out of the movie. In which case, you will no longer have to watch it. πŸ˜‰

I understand why Flapjacks is your roommate; he’s got a sense of humor and isn’t afraid to use it.

1. Yes, Ancient Egypt only really got started around 4000 B.C.
2. Nice Civ reference.
3. Can you confirm my predictions for the movie? I don’t really want to go see it if I don’t have to…

Thanks, MGK, I no longer need to see the movie…
…though I honestly might now, just to see how bad it was in person. Like the Core – lord that was some bad movie science. Hell, it wasn’t even SCIENCE in the comic traditions…

Hurray for the Civ reference, so popular, yet so rarely referenced.

Also, I felt kind of bad that the cavemen destroyed all the temples. Didn’t they just halt the progress of civilization? Weren’t all civilizations built on the backs of slaves? Wasn’t slavery a step up from human sacrifice?

The hunter’s tribe is no doubt from Northern Europe (from Germany to Russia) When watching was almost sure they were crossing Alps in Swiss….. Then suddenly instead of appering in modern Italy lands they are in jungles,,… OK>…. Then they appear in Ethiopia or Sudan – as they are moving up the Nile River to Giza and to Nile’s Delta… anybody gets anything. they are flying from Europe to Eastern Africa to walk to North…..

Absolute Idiotism .

But one thing is nice – the film is not borring, stupid but it even gives some fun.
