So, how long is it until Disney gets another copyright extension to keep Mickey Mouse’s ass from going public domain? Because God knows, if they ask for it, they’ll get it — despite the fact that these extensions they keep getting are helping to break the copyright system.
Then he’d have to take down Oracle, like hell she pays for anything she can download.

Well, it’s not even really necessary. Certainly, the copyright on “Steamboat Willie” will expire one day, and then we can all pick up a $2 copy in the cardboard display at the local drugstore. However, Mickey is TRADEMARKED, so I still can’t paint him on the wall of the school gymnasium. All I can do is post Steamboat Willie to YouTube without getting my ass sued off.
