An underrated tv show Sir. Bring on Stacy Keach

The Stacey Keach moment I recall best involves a spluttering son and some statement about “California public school.”

Cynthia Watros managed to get even hotter. It’s probably just that I don’t like short hair.

Wow…

I had forgotten about this show. I did enjoy it while it was on.

Oh, God, Fox had one of their best shows in YEARS with this, and they cancelled it after just three seasons. What a goddamned shame. Stacy Keach was marvelous in this.

Thank you, MGK!

I for one nominate Mr Keach for the title role in the inevitable re-tread/imagining of Max Hedrom.

I used to love this show but it doesn’t hold up at all.

You have chosen wisely Mr. Bird…

I think you mean Mr. Titus, as Mr. Keach is a 70ish balding heavy-set man, bearing very little resemblance to Max Headroom. I love Chris Titus’s standup, but I have to agree that this show hasn’t held up as well as I remember it.

I missed it the first time around, so it’s still good to me, dammit.

I loved this when first on- I got the DVD’s recently, and most of it has held up- it’s a little one note to sit and watch the whole thing in one sitting. But in 20 minute doeses, you have a show.

I loved this show.

I especially loved the attempted wedding episode.

Ah, show #573 to fall to the FOX Broadcasting Holocaust. While I’m sorry to see Titus go, I’m just glad they sacrificed this Lamb on the alter so we might today have House. Still, I got a kick out of it. It had the sadonic wit of Married With Children without completely scrapping the bottom of the barrel of trashy.

There’s an episode of Family Guy once it was brought back that lists all the shows Fox cancelled after Family Guy. There’s plenty there to think that House could appear with Titus still on the air.
