I’m very sad that the Quest for Glory 2 remake didn’t even make the list. Damn fine work, there.
For adventure, I was torn between Gigolo Assassin and the Several Journeys of Reemus. They both dare to establish their own mythologies and both funny, so that gives them bonus points.
On one hand, Gigolo Assassin was funny in a sexually twisted way, but it also graded you on, among other things, how many clicks you made which definitely detracts from an adventure that requires exploration as part of the problem solving techniques.
On the other hand, Reemus has a talking purple bear.
