Actually, I just started watching FIREFLY this week; it’s really the first thing Whedon’s done that works for me… so maybe I should give up the love for Tim Minnear instead.
I’ve seen some Wizards of Waverly Place. The main character, the girl, is the closest thing to a chaotically evil character Disney will ever have (making her chaotically snarky, I guess, but still!)
Even as a Joss Whedon fan, I am over the whole ‘missed opportunity’ whining from Firefly enthusiasts. Sure it was a pretty good show (with some really good episodes – ‘Out of Gas’ stands out) and had potential, but the first series is not THAT great, especially after a few viewings. I find the first series of Buffy still holds up better.
