Down here it gets referred to as Canadian Thanksgiving. I’m curious, do Canadians refer to ‘American Thanksgiving’? Or does it not come up often enough to be relevant?

Pretty much. It’s always been “Thanksgiving” and “American Thanksgiving” at least in my part of Canada (BC) as far as I can remember, just like people say “Thanksgiving” and “Canadian Thanksgiving” down there (when they’re aware of a different Thanksgiving at all).
Seeing as to how much of a fuss is made over the American version, especially in terms of the disruption of TV schedules, it would be hard to remain oblivious to it.

OK, I’ll bite: why is Peter Bogdanovich the greatest horse’s ass in Hollywood?

Ah, man. I had a Paper Moon clip in Scene It this weekend, and now I want to see that movie, but TCM doesn’t broadcast in Milton.

I’m pretty sure you can get it with Milton subtitles.
