Hey. while those of you eligible are nominating Matt’s story for the Aurora Awards, why don’t you nominate that Beatles thing I did? Win-win.
Here, I’ll even set up a copypasta for you:
“Scenes From An Alternate Universe Where The Beatles Accepted Lorne Michaels’ Generous Offer” By Christopher Bird (https://mightygodking.com/index.php/2009/11/10/scenes-from-an-alternate-universe-where-the-beatles-accepted-lorne-michaels-generous-offer)
See? Easy-peasy. Nominate me in “short fiction, English.”

That’s right, folks, remember you get to nominate three stories — so once you’ve nominated mine and MGK’s you have one more vote to fritter away as you please. You can find more at the Canadian SF Database at http://canadiansf.com/node/42.
(My copypasta, by the way, is “The Coldest War” by Matthew Johnson, Asimov’s Science Fiction, February 2009.)
MMMMMMMMmmmmmmm copypasta.
Put the link in your MGKlassics window and you got yourself a g-dd-mn deal.
What category are you gunning for, sir?
Yeah, which category?
Also, could you put up a link to the awards website? I tried Googling and almost nominated you for an honor reserved for industrial, instructional and corporate videos. (Incidentally, Jack Donaghy needs to win one of those.)
Then I dug a little deeper and found this, which I assume is what you’re referring to: http://www.prixaurorawards.ca , yes?
I didn’t comment when this first came out because I was blown away by it, but that short work of fiction was fantastic. Kudos to you, sir!
