Now if they’d just add back in the line graph at game’s end and just take a wild stab at some sort of espionage system (even Civ I had a pretty good one) I might be enjoying it more. W. Morgan Sheppard’s a fine addition, but they should’ve kept Baba Yetu as the game’s theme in perpetuity. Seems like for every thing they got right (hexes, city defense) they broke something else (no governors, watered-down wonders/improvements).
But it is damn pretty.
(Oh, yeah, and Al’Rashad’s become a welcome addition to the Monday ritual, too.)
