So apparently George W. Bush plans to “publish a book outlining strategies for economic growth.”
No. Really.
Prospective titles for this book include
Don’t Know Much About (Economic) History, The One Percent Solution,, and Hey, If You Turn That Chart Upside Down It Looks Great!

I suggest ‘Probably Should Have Done This Instead.’
“More Money For Us; Fuck You”
I’d put my money on George W. Bush’s FIGHTIN’ AROUND THE WORLD.
Well, to be fair the book -will- create economic growth for Bush. He’s probably already gotten six figures or more for it. And he’s certain to get a good ghostwriter to do it for him (you don’t really think a politician of his caliber writes do you?), so I doubt there will be much in the way of good Bushisms (there’s a phrase I haven’t heard in a while).
1. Lower taxes
2. Less regulation
3. (More) Profit
I’m not sure why he’s writing a book when this could fit on a coaster, though.
Guess I’ll have to wait on the edge of my seat for the inevitable Sarah Palin’s Observations on Plasmon-Enhanced Photoluminescence in Quantum-Dot Coatings and Other Solid-State Physics Ruminations in hardback and pop-up book formats.
The best part of Palin’s book is that she made ALL those observations from her house.
Trickle-Up Economics.
Apparently the book is due to be published in July. I’m sure Mitt Romney will be glad to have Bush in the news just as the general election is ramping up.
There was a blurb in this morning’s paper about Bush endorsing Romney. I found it funny how short it was: one paragraph, the only quotation was four words long, and they even left off the period at the end of the paragraph. It’s amazing to see how much non-Democrats want to ignore the previous president.
In other news Mel Gibson is working on his memoirs titled “The Importance of Tolerance and Understanding,” Stephen Hawking plans to publish an ethnography on the remote Amerindian tribes of Envira, and in a shocking turn of events the world’s population of Bengal tigers have published a vegetarian cookbook.
The sub title will be “Shooting Lawyers with Cheney”
Maybe George W. Bush: Macho Donkey Wrestler?
“I had a small house of brokerage on Wall Street. Many days no business come to my hut. But George has fear? A thousand times no. I never doubted myself for a minute for I knew that my monkey-strong bowels were girded with strength, like the loins of a dragon ribboned with fat and the opulence of buffalo … dung. … The glorious sunset of my heart was fading. Soon the super karate monkey death car would park in my space. But George has fancy plans, and pants to match. Monkey clown horrible karate browned and yummy like a cute small baby chick will now eat the donkey.”
“Tax Cuts and War – the American Way.”
Allow me to quote former Bush-era House Leader (2002-2005) and current money laundering convict, Tom DeLay, in a march 2003 speech to bankers: “Nothing is more important in the face of a war than cutting taxes.”
That sorta captured the spirit of the age. You have to grant DeLay that.
So this book will be in the Comedy section right? We really are slipping in to Idiocracy down here I guess.
