Even weirder than the fact that Canada got Continuum before America did is the fact that so did Britain. I tuned in because the advertising made it look enjoyably awful, and when it turned out to be a competent cop show with a really pretty lead I kept watching, but I was astonished at how little information there was about it on the internet.
So anyway, yeah, I’ll be back for season two when it comes back here.
“Comedy adjacent“. Yeah, that about describes Ron James….
And is it just me, or has it been a while since we’ve had a good “Simpsons Episode of the Week”? Don’t they air episodes from before 2005 any more? Yeeesh!
Just saw some PSA with Ron James where his official caption read “Ron James, Star of CBC’s The Ron James Show”, which I found hilarious… like they felt they couldn’t spell it out ENOUGH trying to explain who the hell is this douchazoid.

“Ron James, Star of CBC’s The Ron James Show, which is a comedy program. He was also on an episode of Wings once. Maybe you remember that? No?”
I think it wasn’t Apu, but Lou. “Lou the coooooopppppp!” Ring any bells? Oh, and nice “Glycerine” takeoff from Homer.
