Interesting. Is it safe to assume that the Gryg are divided along gender lines, with the men doing the fighting while the women have the political power?
Given the health issues that arise when normal humans grow over 8 feet (2.44m), I have to wonder if the Gryg have physical conditions that somehow handicap them vs. other races.
Hm. If the world of Al’Rashad has no horse-equivalents big enough for Gryg, their military capabilities are going to be somewhat constrained. They aren’t likely to reproduce as fast as normals, since individual resource requirements are much higher. (Imagine feeding a teenage Gryg!)
