Good portions of Bullitt’s car chase sequence are cut into tiny little shots, though, giving it a bit of a choppy feel.
Not that it still isn’t the definitive car chase sequence for the several decades afterward, in the same way that the Matrix was the definitive gun battle for a while.
The car chase in Ronin might be the current standard bearer, although I feel like something must have overtaken it since. The one in Matrix 2 might have qualified if only there had been any dramatic tension whatsoever.
Hmm..I do pine for Demi Lovato….not enough to watch Camp Rock again, mind you.
Wait, did I say again? I mean.uh..darn.
Masterchef turned me off in the first episode. It was way too obvious that they taking certain contestants not because they were good cooks but because they provided drama- er, “had heart.” All reality shows have some producer interference but here it was way too obvious.
The only reason I give even half a flying fuck about the Emmys this year is because one of my favorite shows, Adventure Time, is nominated for Best Animated Show Shot Format catagory and I don’t think anything is anywhere near as good as it. I mean, its up against Robot Chicken for fuck sake.
