I’ve read some people referring to handball (or “team handball” to differentiate it from the North American racquetball-without-a-racquet thing) as “the Curling of this Olympics,” in the sense of many Americans checking it out and going “hey, this is pretty awesome! You’re telling me this has been around for years?”

I watched the Honey Boo Boo trailer.

Why would you do that to us? What did we ever do to you?

I saw the Honey Boo Boo trailer. I was horrified by it, as would be expected.

I also felt really, really sad for the poor little girl.

Because Angel Summoning would just be unfair.

You know, the Hiltons, the Kardashians, the Jersey Shore crew, they’re trashy and horrible but at least it’s self contained. It’s a little glass cage wherein consenting adults debase themselves. Toddlers & Tiaras- and its TWO goddamn spinoffs- manage to disgust me on a much deeper level. I can only stand the material they filter through to The Soup, presented alongside Joel McHale’s thinly disguised contempt.

Of course, Homer Goes To College also features that brilliantly and infuriatingly interrupted Itchy and Scratchy cartoon…

It really is weird how I never noticed how hot Mila Kunis was on That 70s Show because her character was so utterly hateful. Then Forgetting Sarah Marshall came along and I was all, “Wait, hold up…”
