Is anyone still really saying that we’re in a genre TV Golden Age? Didn’t everyone stop saying that roundabouts “The Event”? If so, what are they using to bolster their case, because I tend to agree with you: most of it is junk right now.

I thought Gordon Ramsey was pretty British-Gordon-Ramsey-like in “Hotel Hell”. (Hell, Ramsey even did the voice-overs himself! Just like in the British “Kitchen Nightmares”! So that counts for something, right? RIGHT??!?)

If we did have a Golden Age of genre TV recently it might have been around 2003-2005… Firefly, early LOST, early BSG, and return of Doctor Who…

Boy was I made to find out Community wasn’t airing last Friday. I was all looking forward too it and everything.
ANd on the subject of Sean Cullen, it might just be me, but I really think one of his voices sounds exactly like Bane, and I find that incredibly amusing.

Halloween 4 is actually a really good slasher. Easily the best of the Halloween sequels.

I like watching Gordon Ramsey doing his cooking rather than his shouting act because the man has fantastic technical skills. Not a lot of TV chefs do.

And you should watch “It” for Tim Curry’s Pennywise at least once.

Halloween One and Four are great, Two is forgettable (at least I forgot it) and Three is … is … either So Bad It’s Good or just so so bad. Masks that make your kids’ heads explode? Sick. Yet intriguing. But sick.
