TAR has been fun, but I get the feeling that the competition hasn’t been as fierce as it could be. You got Super Hockey Bros, and then you have everybody else. The only team that could’ve presented a challenge was Dave & Conner, and they were doomed after Dave got hurt. Jennifer & John seemed to be competent, but then John had the mother of all brainfarts, getting himself and his girlfriend eliminated while holding onto an Express Pass. Basically, this season boils down to one “alpha team” and several versions of the Beekman Boys.

Yes, Joey & Meghan were a lot to take, but they weren’t that bad in retrospect. Having said that, I anticipate their inclusion in the next “all star” season, and I’ll probably go back to hating them. And by “them,” I mean Joey. Also, Chuck & Wynona will probably get an invite . . . unless Wynona can intercept the e-mails and erase them before her mulleted husband can read them.

The Following gets a renew while Hannibal is on the bubble. TV viewers can’t even pick the right morbid serial killer drama.

A friend of mine had only ever seen the edited for TV version of Breakfast Club and didn’t like it, an intervention followed and happy ending she thought it was great.

Editing for content should be banned!

quirkygeekgirl: On the contrary, editing for content is GREAT. The problem isn’t editing for content; the problem is that people aren’t creative enough when they edit for content. Without editing for content, we wouldn’t have “This is what happens you find a stranger in the Alps! You see what happens? You see what happens, Larry? This is what happens when you feed a stoner scrambled eggs!” We wouldn’t have the “monkey-fighting snakes on this Monday-to-Friday plane”. And our common world would be immeasurably less rich.
