I don’t see why they shouldn’t just say that kind of stuff when they *know* the mic is on. They’re supposed to be providing political news and expert insight.

Burrowowl: Its because they aren’t providing their own political opinions, they’re providing their stations and they have to try and sell whatever bullshit the station is trying to push.

This means lying shamelessly and trying to remain perky even when you know you just trying to polish a turd.
