So I’m going to be on Team Bloggers for this year’s edition of CBC’s Test the Nation. (It is airing on the 20th at 8 p.m.)
Which doesn’t particularly mean I will become famous or anything, but, you know – it’s fun to be on television! Even if it only is for a few seconds’ worth of airtime.
So watch it! I demand your attention even moreso than usual.

Man, congratulations. Consider it in my viewing rotation. I’ll just shift Anderson Cooper’s riveting documentaries to the side for a while.
Now you gotta think through your fashion choice for the show. Do an Alan Moore and wear something passive-aggressively showy. Do it.

When will it air, so I can start looking for it in the usual places (not only do I not have cable, I’m in Florida and they wouldn’t have it down here anyway…)
Have you considered wearing a cape?
If I was going to wear anything super-y, it would be a Spirit-esque suit with domino mask.
Except that would just make me look like the whitest member of the Crazy 88s, so no.
I didn’t even think of the superhero thing (stupid brain, missing the obvious!) — I just thought a Jack the Ripper-style cape would be quite fashionable. But a big Edward Gorey fur coat would be even better, now that I’ve had time to think about it further and have been forced to respond in abject shame.
