Five or six years ago at the Toronto International Film Festival, at a Second Cup (the Canadian version of Starbucks, for those not in the know). He sat down near me with a coffee and a danish, I said “hey aren’t you” and we chatted for four or five minutes.

Funny, I always figured he’d be more of a FORTRAN guy, because of how he likes to see people suffer.
(Well the character, anyway. I’m sure he’s a nice fella.)
I’ve actually met R. Lee Ermey, and I can tell you two things about him:
1.) He’s a really nice guy.
2.) It’s obvious that he really is that tough.
Is that really Dick Armey or just a good impersonator?
Reminds me of Meet The Soldier (which I actually find funnier).
It’s him, the final part of the clip mentions him in the credits.
