Next panel should be just like that one time Batman knocked out Guy Gardner.

You’ve managed to combine my love of comics, my love of that song, and my love of photoshoppery in one thing. I approve, despite the awfulness.

Whoa. Synchronicity out the yin-yang.

I give my commons as prizes to my elementary school Art classes. I just awarded a Catman.

And MGK, check this out. Bastion is back, with The Purifiers:

So, can I get on that blogroll yet?

Why does Catman have a cape?

Batman has a cape because its looks like bat wings when he spreads it out, and because he is the night. Cats do not have wings and Catman is definitely not the night, so why does Catman have a cape? Is it because he is the turd?

Catman picked out his costume and theme for the purpose of pissing off Batman (the costume) and Catwoman (the methods) at the same time. Logic is secondary to that purpose.

A hero, who exists to annoy the piss out of two pre-existing heroes. That’s an origin I can get behind.

Catman isn’t really a hero- he used to be a villain, now he’s a… something. Not a hero, but not so much a villain either.

The Original Catman from theforties was a hero, but he was actually a rival company’s attempt to rip off Batman (thus, the cape).DC had planned a Catman at that time(Catwoman’s male rival), but ended up having to call him The King Of Cats- eventually, DC ended up with the rights to Catman, and merged the two into one character.(Of note:the Superhero Catman had his own “Robin”- a jailbait girl sidekick called Kitten.Only a matter of time before some pervert brings HER back…)

I can almost imagine Blake doing this if he thought he could annoy Bats.

DistantFred…I think “antihero” fits him. He could be a hero, but then Deadshot would go and kill him…or at least try. And if any of you haven’t already, pick up Secret Six.

When you put it that way, I’ve got a brand new reason to try and break into comics.

I spent entirely too long trying to find this post, so I’m just going to make a comment with the word “scatman” and the phrase “I’m the Catman” so that I’ll always be able to Google this post in the future (like, if I’m on some faraway computer where I can’t just browse through pictures I’ve saved, because I don’t use a harddrive syncing service thingy).
