What LurkerWithout said, the Vandals original is my favourite Christmas song ever.
I’m it was the cover version since I had never heard it before, unlike the original which I’ve played to death over the years.

Well, I’m kind of upset now that I didn’t find out about this song until Christmas Day. Now I have to wait until next December before I can start playing it again. The same thing happened last year when I discovered ‘Fairytale Of New York’ on Christmas Eve.

I went and looked up the original version on Youtube, and I think this one is better. You made the right choice.

I’m sorry, in this whole ‘punk rock’ thing, cred is retroactively deducted after future acts destroys it, up to the point where enough negative cred has been generated to undo all of an artist’s previous works.
