Fire Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe. I want to see these guys in the movie.
I would second Michael P except that I so very badly want to keep Hugh Jackman. But I think there’s totally room for two renditions of Les Mis.
I remember watching this about a year ago and being floored by it. Thanks for reminding me of the greatness that a HIMYM Les Miserables would’ve been.

The casting is reversed on this. NPH should be Valjean, Jason should be Javert.
While this is awesomely whimsical, I’m afraid that these actors would not be the best choices for the roles. Valjean and Javert are both supposed to be physically imposing figures, as their presences both command one’s attention when they are on stage (at least, that’s how it’s been in both of the productions that I’ve seen). This is a great video to watch, but in practice it wouldn’t work.
And as usual Ted sits in the middle being the least interesting person in the room.
This could make UFC awesome. If the combatants were made to sing a duet while beating the hell out of each other.
