So recently John Byrne did a one-off “my version” drawing of Dr. Doom in response to the now-infamous Brian Michael Bendis “bad dialogue” Doom panel from Mighty Avengers #11.
Well, let no man say I don’t give them equal treatment.

Sorry, but is something missing?
Sorry, the image didn’t load at first
“I tell you truly, I would not purchase again. So speaks DOOM!”
“I shall leave that most heinous of responses: Neutral feedback!”
^Admittedly not as good as NC’s, let alone MGK’s.
“What fool would DARE outbid DOOM?!”
NCallahan, I hope it’s ok that I use that for all my negative feedbacks from now on. It’s the internet, so it’s not like you can stop me even if it’s not ok. That’s what you get for showing off how clever you are, SUCKER!
Doom looks wrong. Like he’s got shrunken limbs or a giant head and torso.

Doom isn’t making out with any seriously under-aged girls here, or talking about them using words such as “nubile” or “tender”.
Are you SURE Byrne drew this?
And what’s the he’s got his foot on? Is it some kind of dragon thing or one of those aliens with acid blood?
That can’t be Byrne, it has a background.
Also, that’s one fat Doomface. Angry, angry chipmunk Doom.
This is a perfect example of writing out of character while preserving voice, a concept which a few seemed to struggle with back when you wrote about your Gettysburg Address trick.
