Personally I felt Midnight was the best episode of season four. It’s the story after Silence.

My one thought about Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead: “I hate Phantom Space Man!” (4chan has ruined me.)

I’m calling Ken as the last Survivor. He’s a professional gamer. And Survivor, in spite of all the bullshit reality tv show around it, is a game. The only way he’s losing is if somebody figures out that the fact that this guy plays games *for a living* means he has the skillset to be the most dangerous player on the entire show, and they boot him out preemptively.

It’s like Season One, when everybody was busy making friendly with everyone while Richard was actually *playing the game*. Hard to lose a game you’re the only person playing.

Ken will be the sole Survivor just as soon as he stops making alliances with whatever pretty girl doesn’t mind him staring at her tits.

He’s just not that socially smart, okay? He’s a twitch gamer with decent IQ, and the social skills to go with it. And Survivor is a game of social smarts, not raw brains.

Actually wouldn’t mind Neil Tennant being one of the Doctors…

At the level Ken plays, fighter games are not twitch games. They’re games of positioning, mind games, bluffing and strategy. And the skills needed to play any game of strategy (which Survivor is) at a professional are pretty much the same across all such games, whether they be chess, Magic, Super Smash Bros. or Warhammer.
