Yet more proof that folk music can be any kind of music played by folks. I loved this.
I had Rainymood.com on while I was listening to this. I think it only enhanced the experience.
This is fantastic. I hope we see more from them in the future.
I don’t think words can adequately describe what just happened there.
That there be a lot of grizzled folk a-strummin’ away on strummy things.
They’re like red neck Osmonds…only awesome….
Watching this video for the umpteenth time led me into checking out the original song.
I think I love this version even more now.
As a ukulele player (and aspiring accordion player), I agree wholeheartedly.
But how the hell are they amplifying those ukes?? They aren’t mic’d so it must just be layering parts, I guess.
