I was disappointed in the lack of cutting to the Weather as Danielle tried to kill you.
No really the main topic here, but I quite enjoyed the first few episodes of Night Vale, however I found it unbearably monotonous around episode 25 and gave up on it. Is there a reason to continue listening somewhere down the road, like some plot or returning characters (to a greater degree than by ~25)?
@Maciej I think you haven’t missed very much. The program is on a slow, but steady decline.
Now there is an evil corporation, StrexCorp, infiltrating the city, so far it has acquired the Night Vale Community Radio and virtually every other business in town.
But, somehow It feels a little bit dull as a plot device.
I’m still listening, and there are some ongoing plots that are interesting, but there’s been too much “Terrible catastrophe is about to engulf the whole town” plots, follow by random resolutions. And then the episodes that try to break from this structure often have their own issues. So…yeah. I still enjoy it enough in fragments, but the main plots are becoming a bigger issue. I wonder if some of this comes from the live show tours they’ve been doing.
Thanks! 🙂
