I AM the internets

While recent Simpsons have veered towards utter dreck – I did say a silent prayer of thanks when they wised up and brought in John Mahoney as their dad. I live in continual hope that the writers will one day smarten up and bring in Peri Gilpin.

And while I’m at it – Dave’s standard fix for the Simpsons. Cutting back on the writing crew and letting high profile guest writers write an episode (lets say half the series is guest written) will extend the series for 20 years. Ricky Gervais may be an overrated hack, but his episode was at the very least, different. Name one screenwriter in hollywood/comics that wouldn’t jump at the chance to write an episode.
