“The reason is that it is a resort, and it has built an economy around that,” he (Mitchell L. Moss, a professor of urban policy at New York University,) said. “Meanwhile the great industrial cities have declined terrifically. Look at Connecticut: where is the growth? It’s in casinos; they are constantly expanding.”
About Jack Frost: At least he doesn’t murder him in the tub.
I watched It’s A Wonderful Life last week as it’s one of those “Movies Everyone Must See”. And all I have to say is: if George Baily wasn’t such a pussy and would tell people to fuck off once in a while, he wouldn’t be the doormat he is in that movie. And I did understand the message. I also don’t see how showing him how things would be if he wasn’t born equates to he shouldn’t kill myself. It completly ingnores the things he did do in his life. Killing themself then won’t erase that, so what the angel showed him is how things would have been.
I can’t believe I’m saying this but: I want to see that He-Man Christmas special. It sounds so fantastically terrible.

Best part of “Children of a Lesser Clod”: the scene with the bear.

I retract my earlier statement about the scene with the bear. It’s a tossup between that and Arnie Pie’s aerial coverage of Homer’s escape attempt.
In any case, it’s a good episode that needs to be watched.
