I’ll say nay on the whole Tricia Helfer on Chuck thing.
It was an awful episode, in a string of awful episodes that can be pointed to when wondering why it wasn’t renewed. Rather than building on the whole Chuck gets the Dark Intersect, and what does that mean, they’ve kept going back to the well of the sitcom fluff and no character growth that’s been stifling this show.
*Chuck goes to look for his father…goes nowwhere…what, did he look on Google? He has full access to Castle, and never used that.
*Chuck gets the Dark Intersect…no one cares.
*Chuck has a secret flowchart of what’s been going on in the series. Next episode, everyone knows about it, and he’s done nothing but look on google apparantly again with it.
*This week he learned to control the Intersect…is this a turning point, or just another missed opportunity.
It’s such a great show..but it’s got so much missed opportunities (Julia Ling, Anna, was a finalist on a show to be the next Jackie Chan…and they can’t find a use for her on a spy show other than a passing joke?)
And is it me, or is starting to feel like Devon eats a bullet at the wedding?
I love the spy stuff. I love the comedy. Like you mention, I love the casting. I think that, for the most part, the writing is really sharp and the characters are fun and likeable.
I can’t handle the “Will they/Won’t they?” plot with Chuck and Sarah. It’s terrible, paint-by-numbers television stuff and as a result, I don’t watch the show; I stopped early in this season.

“We’re not exactly sure why W is airing Ocean’s Eleven.”
I am. I think the names Brad Pitt and George Clooney might have something to do with this.
Also, the season finale to Life was great.

I think the more important question is, “Why does Billy Bob Thornton hate Canada?”
Here’s my thing with Chuck.
